Natural New Zealand Black Pearl Shell looks stunning in these Blood Wood Teardrop plugs. The inlays are painstakingly hand set into the plugs with special care being taken to be sure the edges are smooth and the shell inlays fit precisely.
New Zealand black shell is farmed, it is never taken from nature. The inlays will vary in shade from pair to pair making each piece a unique, we carefully select the shell to match as closely as possible in each pair.
Tall teardrop plugs resemble the shape of a natural raindrop or teardrop and allow the lobes to lay flatter when compared to round plugs.
The wearable area measures 3/8" [9.5mm] and overall tunnel length is 1/2" [12.5mm]

The flares measure 2mm larger than gauge size, if you prefer smaller or larger flares please let us know.
